Person County Government is seeking a dedicated Nutritionist III to join the Person County Health Department. This leadership-driven role plays a pivotal part in advancing community health through the effective administration and oversight of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidate’s educational background and relevant work experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record per County policy.
This is an exempt position working 37.5 hours weekly/1950 hours annually.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements -

- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Master’s degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Nutrition from an accredited college or university and one year of experience;
- or Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education and two years nutrition experience.

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Person County conducts pre-employment screening on candidates. Job offers are conditional pending the following:
