Description: The primary purpose of this position is to provide and coordinate the postpartum and newborn assessments through a home visit to postpartum women. This position will also work the daily clinics.
Requirements: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and two years of Public Health Nursing experience; OR Master’s in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience; OR graduation from a school of professional nursing and three years of professional nursing experience including two years of Public Health nursing experience. A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and an appropriate driver’s license valid in the State of N.C. is also required
Compensation: The hiring range for this position is $ 58,173 – $73,663. Halifax County provides a comprehensive employee benefits package, including membership in the N.C. Local Government Employees’ Retirement System.
