+ Essential Job Functions
This position serves as the nursing supervisor.
- As nursing supervisor, the employee is responsible for the supervision of the nursing program and is responsible for serving as an authority of the unit. This includes administrative duties such as planning, organizing and managing daily operations, quality assurance, personnel management, and staff development. This position is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of the Medical Clinic nursing staff, and will coordinate with Administration on matters involving daily operations. Nursing supervision duties also include oversight of public health programs including policy and procedure. As such, this position is accountable for assuring that all services are provided in accordance with federal, state and grant requirements and that staff work to their full scope of practice without exceeding that scope. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating people and projects. Will provide leadership for: project development, budgeting, training, setting work standards, scheduling, reviewing work, counseling, disciplining and performing other personnel functions with review and approval of the Assistant Human Services Director. + Education and Experience
- Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and two years of Public Health nursing experience
- 1-3 years nursing experience in public or private sector program/management; 2 years of experience as a Nursing supervisor in public/private sector practice management; or an equivalent combination of experience

- This position is responsible for oversight of the clinic
- A background check, drug screen and motor vehicle report will be required prior to
- The duties of this position may also include assistance with sheltering operations and working medical counter measure events during natural disasters and public health emergencies.
- ICS Trainings (100, 200, 700 and 800) must be completed within 90 days of hire
- Required mask fit testing
