Public Health Nurse II
Quality Assurance-HIPAA Coordinator-Primary Care Program Coordinator
Duties: This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Quality Assurance/Improvement of the Health Department, serve as HIPAA Privacy Officer and coordinate the Primary Care program in adherence to federal, state, and local guidelines. In addition, the PHN II will perform duties in all clinical programs to include basic and specialized patient care and treatment, screening, counseling, education referral and follow-up.
Minimum
Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of public health experience; or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one of which must have been in public health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Public Health Program Coordinator experience preferred. Must have a current license to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina.
Salary Range: Grade 73 $63,881 – $70,513 Commensurate with experience
